Exeter Street Slide: Still chance to slide!

Did you miss out on the coveted Exeter Street Slide ballot? Panic not - there is still chance for you to be part of the hottest event to hit Exeter this summer.

Exeter Deaf Academy is looking for an army of volunteers to join the Exeter Street Slide team on Sunday 6th September. So get involved and help see the summer out with a splash!

With momentum building for the incredible event coming to Exeter this September, the Deaf Academy needs a huge team of volunteers – over 60 in total – to help make Exeter Street Slide happen on the day.

There is a variety of positions available from marshals, meeters and greeters to event set-up crew and more! Enthusiastic and friendly people who are willing to get stuck in will be pivotal in making Exeter Street Slide happen.

Volunteering for the Exeter Street Slide Team is not only a great way to enhance your CV but also a fantastic opportunity to help make a difference to an essential local charity. As a thank you for volunteering, it is the Deaf Academy’s ambition and intention that every volunteer who wants to slide will be able to. Refreshments will also be provided for volunteers throughout the day.
