The Repair Revolution needs you!
The repair revolution, known as REPAIR IT, is coming to Exeter on November 5th and it needs your help!
REPAIR IT involves local volunteers with technical repair skills helping others fix and maintain their small electrical appliances and gadgets, including computers – for free.
The event is currently looking for local menders so if you have mending skills that you think you could contribute to the event then please get in touch.
Brought to you by Recycle Devon and Transition Exeter, REPAIR IT will take place at Exeter Community Centre, 17 St David’s Hill, EX4 3RG on Saturday November 5th and will run from 10am-12:30pm.
Gill Baker, from Transition Exeter, says: "Repair events such as this are about reducing waste and consumption as well as promoting the repair knowledge and skills that exist within local businesses and amongst community members.
"We’re looking forward to providing that expertise to help people get their electricals fixed for free!"
Emma Croft, Re-use Project Co-ordinator at Recycle Devon, added, "If you think you might have the right skills to offer this event then we would love to hear from you. Please get in touch with me on 07966 566435 or via emma.croft@devon.gov.uk to find out more."
