British rock is definitely back. You only need to look at Royal Blood to see that it's flying off the shelves, but what for those who have a penchant for things a little heavier?

Well look no further than The Exeter Cavern on Thursday 27th November. Three exciting home grown bands will be gracing the town and hoping to greet fans old and new-alike.

Continuing it's mission to support and develop British talent, The Cavern will be welcoming the 'Download Freezes Over Tour' along to Exeter. Indeed, Download in this context refers to Download Festival, the successful Castle Donington event which annually attracts 90,000 rockers from around the world. Thursday 27th will bring a little bit of Donington to Exeter and is sure to be an exciting showcase of what it means to be in a modern British band.

Hacktivist and The One Hundred both bring a rap/rock crossover style which is comparable to Linkin Park and Papa Roach and Dead Harts bring a more straight forward take on rocking out. The One Hundred themselves feature heavily across Kerrang! this week, both in the magazine and online as well as the radio station, being heralded as 'Ones To Watch' for 2015.

Guaranteed to be one of the most exciting Exeter shows of the year, miss this at your peril. Tickets available from the following link: http://www.wegottickets.com/exetercavern/event/279174
