Tickets available for glittering sports awards

Tickets are now on sale for the Devon Sports Awards 2013.

This is the tenth year the event has been staged by Active Devon and it promises to be the biggest and best yet.

More than 200 entries were received across 13 categories and the shortlist can be viewed at the link below.

Unlike similar awards, these are not-for-profit with any money raised being donated to the Exeter Foundation, a charity closely linked to the Exeter Chiefs.

Tony Rowe, chairman of the Exeter Foundation, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate all that is great about local sport and raise money for good causes at the same time.”

The Devon Sports Awards will take place at Sandy Park, the home of the Exeter Chiefs, on Friday May 10 at 7pm and are being supported by The Exeter Daily and Plymouth’s Sunday Independent newspaper.

Tickets are available for the evening at a cost of £65.00 each or a table of ten for £625.00, which includes a three-course meal. Please email the booking form, available to download here, to enquiries@exeterfoundation.org.uk ensuring the payment slip is complete.
