A public exhibition will feature poems, cartoons and images created by well-known artists working with people with dementia.
The insightful works, part of a University of Exeter research project, will be on show during Dementia Action Week (May 21-27). It captures moments of difficulty, and also love, joy and laughter, showing the multifaceted experience of life with dementia.

In a new exhibition at the Devon Guild, local printmaker and artist Anita represents her journeying over 365 square miles of Dartmoor through various prints, painting and installations. Her dynamic artwork often created on-site, reflects the impact of the changing seasons on the wild Devon landscape.

Preparations for one of the South West’s largest exhibitions, the Rathbones Exeter Art Show hosted at the Maynard School, are gaining pace with well over 100 nationally and locally acclaimed artists signed up already.
