Drop in to the Cathedral to make a range Nativity themed crafts. Create an angel or a hanging nativity scene to go on your Christmas tree, or have a go at making your own Nativity set! Make a manger for baby Jesus to sleep in, or design a wreath to remember the Christmas story. Suitable for children of all ages. £1-£1.50 per craft.

A big golden star has appeared in the sky and it’s going to lead us to a very special place! Join us for an exciting treasure hunt around the Cathedral, led by a shepherd who has seen a great star in the sky! Discover the true meaning of Christmas as we journey around the Cathedral. Follow the clues to discover the way to the stable and our life-sized Nativity. After a Christmas story you can make a Nativity craft to take home with you. Suitable for children of all ages. £1

Following previous successful Chorister Open Days, Exeter Cathedral is hosting a similar opportunity for children on Saturday 28th November 2015. This is open to boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 9 who enjoy singing. It is a great chance for young people to be encouraged and coached by professional musicians in an inspirational setting.

From 200 years away Jakob and Wilhelm, the Brothers Grimm, make a wish on a magic fish to know whether the tales they collected will still be known by children in the future. They magically find themselves in Exeter in 2015 rhyming children through Grimm’s Fairy Tales such as The Fisherman and His Wife. Children will have the opportunity to decorate their own magic paper wishing fish.

Our show is aimed at bringing owners' cherished cars and steam engines together and showing them off to the public.
