Westcotts announce two key promotions to Partner
Veronique Walkey, Director and Head of Professional Services based at Westcotts Plymouth office and Matt Melksham, Crediton office based Director at Westcotts have just been made a Partner.
Westcotts is a UK leading firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers who offer a personal and local service, valuing relationships above all else. Offering a wide range of sector and service specialisms, Westcotts has supported individuals and businesses, large and small, across a diverse range of sectors for over 30 years.
Matt joined the Westcotts family as a Director earlier this year to head up the Crediton office and support a growing number of clients in mid Devon. Originally from the South West and with more than 23 years’ experience, Matt offers specialist expertise and advice across a diverse range of sectors.
A fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Matt has local knowledge and experience of agricultural, pharmaceutical, professional services, renewable energy, and hospitality businesses, as well as charities and not-for-profits. Going forward he will have a key role in the Westcotts Digital Change Group across the firm.

Veronique initially joined Westcotts following the merger with Riley in Plymouth two years ago. She advises a variety of entities and individuals across a range of industries, with a focus on corporate and legal clients. Her knowledge, experience and approachable character allows Veronique to develop and grow key relationships built on trust to provide essential and tailored accountancy, audit and strategic business advice to her clients.
