New Year promotion for Grace
A solicitor at The Family Law Company started 2016 with a big smile on her face after being promoted to Senior Associate.
Grace Bradley, solicitor in the firm’s private law and financial matters team, has been promoted to the role of Senior Associate, having shown high levels of commitment and dedication to her work at the specialist family law firm.
Since joining The Family Law Company, Grace, who is qualified in both Scots and English law has been involved in a number of high profile cases, including one child abduction case widely reported in the media that utilised her abilities as a Spanish speaker.
Speaking about her appointment Rachel Buckley, Director at The Family Law Company, said: “The Board is very pleased to announce Grace’s promotion to Senior Associate.
“This promotion recognises Grace’s commitment and dedication both to the firm and our clients, as well as her expertise and experience in child abduction and protecting victims of honour based violence. Grace is also invaluable for her contribution as a volunteer with the Child Contact Centre at Southernhay Church in Exeter.”
This contact centre enables separated parents to see their children in a supported environment. It is run by a team of volunteers who work hard to provide a relaxed environment for the children and parents. Grace says it is a good opportunity to see the effects of separation from another angle, helping her in her divorce work.
Grace is a valued member of the specialist child abduction team at The Family Law Company, which is one of only two South West firms accredited by the Ministry of Justice on the International Child Abduction and Contact Unit (ICACU) referral panel and a member of child abduction charity, Reunite. The team is shortlisted in the upcoming DASL Awards and Grace was one of four solicitors shortlisted individually last year in the national Family Law Awards, for Family Law Associate of the Year.
