The Great Big Cathedral Quiz returns
Exeter Cathedral has announced the return of its popular team quiz night.
Comedian and author Tony Hawks has once again agreed to host the event, which takes place on Thursday 13th October 2016 in the medieval Nave of the Cathedral.
A regular on the Radio Four show “I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue” and is author of several best-selling books, including “Round Ireland With A Fridge”, Tony will be pitting the assembled team's wits against one another from the pulpit.
The Cathedral’s Development Director, Paul Courtney, said “After the success of last year we’re delighted that Tony has agreed to return as host for the second Great Big Cathedral Quiz. We’re hoping to build on the success (and fun!) of 2015 with all money raised from the event going towards the cost of conserving and maintaining the Cathedral for the people of Exeter and the thousands of visitors we welcome each and every month”.
Teams of up to eight are invited to enter for a limited number of available team spaces. The ticket price also includes a hog roast from Kenniford Farm, with Ivan and the team from The Oddfellows providing a licensed bar to keep those all-important brain cells hydrated. The evening is kindly sponsored by Brewin Dolphin who are one of the many Exeter businesses fielding a team.
