Law firm saddles up for cancer charity's bike ride

Members of Devon law firm, Gilbert Stephens LLP, are taking to the saddle for FORCE’s Century Cycle Challenge, which takes place on Sunday 30 June from Topsham Rugby Club.

The event offers either a 55- or 100-mile cycle from Topsham Rugby Club to Tiverton. The 100-mile ride heads up to Dulverton and over the top of Exmoor, down to South Molton and then meets up with the 55-mile cyclists. Participants then head across country to Morchard Road and back to Topsham via Crediton.

Four members from Gilbert Stephens will be riding to raise money for the cancer charity, which is also its charity of the year.

Nigel McKay, Partner at the law firm, comments: “We have all cycled together for other charity bike rides but this will be the first event we have completed together this year and we are looking forward to riding together again. FORCE is such a worthwhile, local charity and we hope to help them raise lots of money.”

Staff from the law firm will also be volunteering on the day, manning the food and drink station at Crediton.
