RSPCA Little Valley Shelter Day & Fun Dog Show

It's that time of year again! It's time for the annual Shelter Day and Fun Dog Show at RSPCA Little Valley Animal Shelter, based just outside Exeter past Swains Garage at Pocombe Bridge.

Sadly, due to the bad weather last year's event was postponed and eventually cancelled. Lucily, this year, the weather forecast looks great for Sunday so it's all systems go!

If you've been to Shelter Day before, you'll know what great fun it can be. If you've not then now's your time to come along and check us out and have some fun too.

We have a fun dog show running all day - you can enter your dog whether it came from Little Valley or not. We'll also try to show off any of the dogs here at the Shelter who are looking for new homes.

As well as the dog show there is also a dog agility area and many stalls. We have refreshments, the best home made cakes in Exeter, a bar complete with Pimms, a BBQ (meat and veggie) and ice cream. We have many stalls lined up - pet accessories, books, jigsaws, jewellery, bric-a-brac as well as lots of fun and games for you to try your luck at. And don't forget our Grand Draw.

We even have fun stocks ready for you to subject your friends to a soaking with a wet sponge - a great fun way to exact a soggy revenge!

The event starts at 11am and runs till 4pm. Entry is just £1 for adults, 50p for children and under 5's go free.

All money raised from this event goes directly towards running Little Valley Animal Shelter, the only RSPCA rehoming centre in Devon. It takes thousands of pounds a week to run the Shelter, caring for and rehoming sick, neglected and abandoned animals from the local area. We can't do it without your support.
