Family events at A la Ronde this half term
From pumpkins to apples and bats to spooky stories, there will be plenty going on this October Half term at A la Ronde’s popular Apple Day and Hallowe’en Spooktacular events.
Let your kids go ‘batty’ with a free quiz trail from Saturday 25 October until Sunday 2 November. Find the clues around the perimeter walk to solve the anagram and spot the bats hidden along the route. There will also be a spooky house trail all week (normal admission to the house applies).
On Saturday 25 October join in the A la Ronde Apple Day, where we will have an apple press for you to press your own apples (please remember to bring a tub as well), apple games and apple activities. There will also be free guided walks to Lower Halsdon Farm with our rangers to celebrate the Great British Walk festival, although we recommend you book a space.
These activities are all free, with usual entrance fees chargeable if you wish to explore the house as well.
Then, on Tuesday 28 October, A la Ronde gets spooky with free storytelling, lucky dip and games from 11am until 4pm. There will also be pumpkin carving at £1.50 per child (please bring your own pumpkin).
Come and explore A la Ronde this October half term and join in our family events.
