The fun begins at A la Ronde this Easter with a family-friendly trail starting on Saturday 5 April. The trail runs in the grounds daily until Sunday 21 April and costs £1.50. Sponsored by Cadburys, there is a free chocolate egg for every participant.

Be sure not to miss the Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 April. Craft volunteers will be on hand to help children make a selection of Easter and spring-themed items to take home; and a face painter will be here so children can be transformed into their favourite character. Entry, which also includes the Cadburys Easter trail, is £3.

At 2pm on both days the Easter Bunny will be paying a visit for the annual Egg Scramble.  Lesley Strong, Property Assistant says: "The Egg Scramble has become a popular event over the Easter weekend. Children of all ages follow the Easter Bunny round the meadow and scramble for the mini chocolate eggs thrown from the Easter basket."

There is no charge for the Egg Scramble.

On Easter Monday, 21 April, why not work off all that chocolate by taking part in the Great Egg and Spoon Race? Races are taking place throughout the day from 11.15am and are free to enter. Last race starts at 3.45pm. Bring your own spoon and plenty of luck!
