Hopster Showtime is coming to a Picturehouse near you
The UK’s favourite kids learning and entertainment app is spreading the festive cheer with 22 special nationwide screenings of hit TV series Pingu, Bob the Builder and Thomas & FriendsTM.
The Exeter Picturehouse, in Bartholomew St West, will be hosting Hopster Showtime on Monday 28 December at 12.15pm.
Sponsored by fun and healthy snack provider, Fruit Bowl, who aim to help mums naturally fuel their kids’ daily fun and Nature’s Own, a specialist in vitamins and nutritional supplements, kids can come and join their favourite characters on a magical adventure, as they tune in to five Winter Special episodes on the big screen.
Each family will also receive a special gift to take home with them. Inside a free Hopster goodie bag, they’ll find a fun-filled activity booklet, a bag of Jungle ShapesTM fruity treats, Nature’s Bears chewable multivitamin ‘jelly bears’ and more.
The 22 participating Picturehouse cinemas and partners include Stratford, Harbour Lights in Southampton, Greenwich, Duke of York’s Picturehouse in Brighton, The Cameo in Edinburgh, The Little Theatre Cinema in Bath, Cinema City in Norwich and Phoenix Picturehouse in Oxford.
A special Hopster Showtime Winter Special session will be taking place at Hackney Picturehouse on Tuesday 29th December from 11am and will provide the perfect remedy to any post Christmas day blues.
Following the screening, families can expect to be amazed by a magic show incorporating interactive tricks that the kids can get stuck into. Everyone alike will be laughing into the afternoon, as the show’s magicians perform their signature comedy acts involving mishaps with props and volunteers from the audience!
As well as this, there will be plenty of fun and games with rocket balloons and balloon modelling sessions for the kids to participate in and also take home for free.
Finally, to replicate the screening’s wintery themes, guests will enjoy a dazzling snow spectacle with life like snow -flakes filling the room, which will magically disintegrate before your eyes.
