Mr Popper’s Penguins

A family musical, based on the novel by Richard and Florence Atwater.  Painter and decorator by day, Mr Popper spends his time dreaming of Antarctic adventures. Cream Pie

A two-woman show about internet porn and its impact on sexual education, health, and relationships. Boxes 36

Chris Dinnis and a host of the original djs revive Boxes nightclub on the occasion of its 36th anniversary. Expect a night of soul and jazz funk as played at Boxes in the 80s. It's all raising money for Cancer Research UK. Pay on the door.

Mordrake

The big pick up

Exmouth Carnival Fun Day

Over 60 stalls selling plants, hand-made crafts and jewellery, toys, cakes, clothing, ceramics and lots, lots more. In addition there will be owls and birds of prey, animals from The World of Country Life,  children’s entertainer, inflatable slide, toddler soft play area and lots more! 9am-5pm. Illuminated Carnival Procession starts at 7.30pm from Imperial road.

Cullompton Food and Drink Festival

You’ll find a host of exciting demonstrations and suppliers at this year’s festival, with celebrity chef Tim Maddams starting off the demonstrations. Festival venues are taking part across the town promoting our local produce - something for everyone.

Exmouth Illuminated Carnival Procession
Saturdaty, 7.30pm, The Strand, Exmouth
This year’s procession is set to be bigger and better than last year!   The procession will start 7.30pm from Imperial Road. It will then travel along Marine Way into Exeter Road then the Parade before finishing at the roundabout by KFC & Capels. Autumn Family Craft Fair

Pro Wrestling Pride

EXHIBITIONS

The Beauty of Light on Dartmoor
Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre, Princetown
An exhibition by international award winning photographer and film maker Jonathan Scott. Jonathan has travelled the world and has had his work featured by the likes of National Geographic, the Discovery Channel, Google, the BBC, ITN and many more.  The exhibition is running from 26 August 2016 until 5 March 2017.

Exeter Contemporary Open 2016
Exeter Phoenix
Exeter Contemporary Open 2016 is an annual, open submission exhibition, which over the last eleven years has built national and international reputation as a prime opportunity for artists to showcase their work, drawing audiences and attention from across the country. Kurt Jackson: Revisiting Turner’s Tourism
RAMM, Queen Street, Exeter
Visitors can explore changing Southwest landscapes in an exhibition featuring works by J.M.W. Turner, one of Britain’s greatest landscape painters, and contemporary British artist Kurt Jackson. The exhibition runs from 10 September to 4 December.
