Top UK wine expert to host evening at Exeter hotel

Leading wine expert Stan Parks will be joining The Magdalen Chapter’s Head Chef, Ben Bulger, for an evening of impressive food and wine matching.

Tickets are now on sale for this event that is taking place on Wednesday April 17th at 7pm at The Magdalen Chapter Hotel, Exeter.  Guests will be able to indulge in an array of wines from across the world as well as enjoying a lively commentary from one of the UK’s top wine experts.

The evening’s host is Stan Parks, from Milton Sandford Wines, who has been sourcing great wines for over two decades. His love affair with wine started at the age of 20, when he was introduced to a bottle of Grand Echezeaux 1959 DRC.  Stan is now considered to be one of the most passionate, informative and entertaining wine educators not yet on television!

The event will take place in The Lounge at The Magdalen Chapter. An informal buffet will be available and with that, the most delicious wine pairings will be served with each course. Starting with a glass of fizz, there will be three wine flights including wines from both the new and old world, and to finish  a choice of digestifs.
