InExeter announces new pop up markets for Christmas
InExeter are excited to announce 5 days of pop-up markets in the lead up to Christmas organised by InExeter.
InExeter’s Pop Up Emporium will be held in various locations around the city starting with the Guildhall Shopping Centre on Carnival weekend, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November. Nestled in the sheltered piazza of the Guildhall Shopping Centre, discover an eclectic mix of small business and local traders at InExeter’s first Pop Up Emporium. Head to the square outside WH Smith between 10am and 4pm for a curated presentation of artisan goods and alternative gifts from across the South West.
Other locations include the enigmatic Temple of the Freemasons Hall on Gandy Street on Saturday 10th December and a 2-day finale in Bedford Square, Princesshay the weekend before Christmas, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th December.
For one day only, the Freemason's Hall will play host to the most atmospheric of Christmas market events. Visitors will be able to marvel at the wonderful creations of the Pop-Up Emporium while soaking up the mysteries of the Freemasons and their Temple. A once in a lifetime experience, the Freemasons Hall is not usually open to the public. This market has an entry fee of £2.50 per person and will include a tour of the Temple before visitors are welcomed into the dining room where there will be a curated mix of stalls offering gifts perfect for Christmas.
Markets Manager Lottie Stanley says “I am hugely excited to deliver the Pop-Up Emporium Christmas Markets including the one-off market at the Freemasons Hall. Join us for an incredible shopping experience and enlightening explorations into this obscure and enigmatic world. Visitors will be able to question the Masons about their secretive realm while discovering curious offerings and unusual gifts. We also urge visitors to explore the local independent businesses in each of the areas.”

The final Pop-Up Emporium will be the weekend before Christmas hosted by Princesshay in Bedford Street. This will be a fantastic opportunity to pick up last minute unique gifts before the big day. This extravaganza of local stall holders will be located between H&M and Russel & Bromley. Expect tempting treats and delectable bakes, handmade favors and scented goodies, lustrous trinkets and frippery galore.
