Princesshay celebrates 10 years of the Charity Christmas Tree Festival
Princesshay welcomed the Charity Christmas Tree Festival to a new central location on Bedford Street in Exeter for its 10th year on Thursday 17th November.
The illuminated festival, featuring 35 Charity Trees, is now on display until the New Year.
In the last 10 years, the Charity Christmas Tree Festival has supported hundreds of local charities raising both money and awareness of their causes.
Charities that have participated include, FORCE Cancer Charity, Children’s Hospice South West and CEDA, Princesshay’s current Charity partner of the year.
Michelle Menezes, Princesshay Centre Manager, said, “We are delighted to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of The Charity Christmas Tree Festival. The festival is a magical addition to Princesshay’s Christmas activities and is a lovely way to support the important local work that takes place throughout the year.”
The Charity Christmas Tree Festival is just one of many seasonal celebrations happening in Princesshay.
Brand new for this year is The Hub in partnership with Margoux and Exeter City Football Club. The après style ski bar opened on 17thNovember and is screening all the international football with entertainment for all the family outside of the matches.
Father Christmas will be taking up residence in the lodge on Bedford Street from the 26th of November until Christmas Eve.
And Thursday late-night shopping also returns on the 24th of November with many stores staying open until 8pm.
