Sign up today and get the early bird offer for Exeter Hospiscare’s popular Men’s Walk on Saturday 12 March.

Already 147 men have signed up for the eight mile canal side walk which starts at Exeter’s Double Locks pub and finishes there with a FREE pint and a pasty at the exclusive Hospiscare bar where you can watch the Six Nations England v Wales match on huge LED screens.

“It’s a great reason to get the boys together for a fun team event, and also for friends, dads and sons to spend time together,” said Charlotte Knipe, Hospiscare’s Event Fundraiser.

“Not only is there a great atmosphere on the day, but you’ll also be raising vital money for a fantastic local charity at the same time. Sign up before the early bird offer ends this Sunday. We are welcoming men of all ages, including, lads, dads, rugby fans, keen walkers. Dogs are very welcome too.”

The Men’s Walk is a sponsored walk, which each year raises essential funds to support the Exeter based local, independent charity which provides high quality care and support to people with a progressive life-limiting illness and those close to them living in Exeter, East and Mid Devon.

The main event sponsor is Wilkinson Grant, with the Double Locks providing the venue free of charge and St Austell Brewery providing the beer.

Sign up before Sunday 31 January for the early bird offer of just £12 per person – includes a t-shirt, a pint and a pasty after the walk. From 1 February it costs £17 to enter. You can either be sponsored or make a donation.
