Vintage fair at the FORCE shop

The FORCE Cancer Charity shop in Heavitree is holding a special vintage sale day next month.

All sorts of retro goodies from 80s knitwear to tin toys and vintage books will be on offer at the FORE Street store on Saturday November 2.

There will be bargains galore including collectable books at half their marked price.

“We’ll have some great deals for lovers of all things vintage plus our usual amazing selection of goods and there’ll be a bake sale. What more could you want,” said FORCE Shop Manager Anna Heard.

And early warning of a couple of dates for your diary – Santa will be at the FORCE shop just before Christmas.

He’ll be there to hand out presents on Saturday December 21 and Monday December 23.

“The elves have made a few too many toys this year so Santa thought he’d fit us into his busy schedule because we’ve been good and our supporters have done such a fantastic job raising money for FORCE,” said Anna.

Santa will be letting children choose their gift from a selection he’s bringing from the North Pole.

He reckons a donation of £2 per child would be a good way of thanking FORCE for inviting him to visit.
