Charity abseil boosts funds for CHSW

On Monday 19 May, Ashfords staff made their way to Canonteign Falls, the highest waterfall in England at an impressive 220ft, to abseil down for CHSW.

With the help of the Royal Marines, all 15 participants made it safely down the steep and slippery rock face.

Faced with the prospect of a 220ft descent down a craggy cliff and waterfall the team showed great courage and team spirit. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all, even by those who were pale and shaking at the top, with an impressive £1,743 raised for Ashfords charity of the year, CHSW.
