Pedestrian taken to hospital after road traffic collision in Newton Abbot

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with a head injury following a road traffic collision in Newton Abbot this lunchtime (Wednesday 1 May 2013).

The collision took place at around 1.35pm by Sainsbury’s, close to the Penn Inn roundabout, and involved the male pedestrian and a car.

Police confirm that a man in his 60s has been taken to hospital with a head injury.
