Poundland to open second shop in Exeter

Poundland, Europe’s biggest single price discount retailer, is opening a second store in Exeter on Thursday (27 June 2013), creating 18 new jobs.

The new store repalces the former Sports Direct unit in the Guildhall Shopping Centre.

Poundland’s Trading Director, Richard Lancaster, says:  “We are delighted to bring our unique proposition to Exeter.

"The £1 price hasn’t changed since we opened our first store 22 years ago. Our current customers love us and we are sure the Exeter shoppers will too.”

With over 450 stores nationwide, Poundland sells an array of products at just £1 each including top brand essentials such as Mr Muscle, Cadbury’s, Weight Watchers and Heinz, as well as fantastic seasonal product ranges.
