Signs Express Exeter Continues Support for Local Community Garden with New Sign Donation
Signs Express Exeter is proud to announce its continued support for the St Thomas Community Garden by donating a replacement sign to the project. The original sign, provided in 2017, helped promote the garden's mission of teaching children about the origins of food and encouraging community participation. The garden, a collaborative effort by Montgomery Primary School, St Thomas Residents Association, and Blooming St Thomas, has since evolved, necessitating an updated sign to reflect its current activities and the ongoing collaborative efforts keeping the space vibrant.
Nick Baxter-Sibley, from Signs Express Exeter, initially responded to a call for help via Twitter from Montgomery Primary School. The school sought a sign that not only encapsulated the essence of the community garden but also invited the broader community to engage in nurturing the garden. The new sign, donated in 2023, highlights these ongoing activities and the garden's continued success.
Marion Baxter-Sibley, Director at Signs Express Exeter, expressed enthusiasm for the project's progression, stating, "It’s great to see that the Community Garden has thrived since we first supplied a sign. It was a pleasure to be able to continue supporting such a worthwhile project."
Signs Express Exeter's commitment to the St Thomas Community Garden underscores the company's dedication to supporting local initiatives that foster community spirit and environmental education.
