Following the success of Winter Stories and Snow Crafts at Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park with Devon Libraries, the second event in the partnership has been announced. Spring Stories and Mother’s Day Crafts will take place at Devon’s Crealy on Wednesday 11th March 2015.

Guests of all ages are invited to join Buddy Bear and story tellers from Exeter Library at Mamma Mia’s Restaurant at Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park from 10am – 1pm for interactive spring time stories and creative Mother’s Day craft sessions.

Grace Ryder, Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park’s Educational Officer said: “Our partnership with Devon Libraries has started brilliantly; our first event was a real success. It was great to see children interacting with their parents at story time here at Crealy. Our second event we hope to be just as popular with our spring time stories and Mother’s Day craft sessions.”

Karen Leach-Bowdler from Exeter Library said: “We very much enjoyed working with Crealy on the Winter Stories and Snow Crafts and we are thrilled to be returning to Crealy on March 11th for spring stories and Mother’s Day crafts. We are very excited to be continuing our partnership with Crealy and continuing to reach out into the community to promote reading from a very early age.”

Buddy Bear will be making a return visit to Exeter Library’s Bounce and Rhyme session Tuesday 10th March. Bounce and Rhyme encourages pre-school children to sing songs and rhymes with accompanying actions. The sessions are both lively and stimulating for babies, toddlers, parents, carers and grandparents alike.

Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is a family run park and aims to put a smile on every guest face. The fabulous new weekday entry fee is just £4.95 and little ones under 92cm visit absolutely free.

Guests are invited to explore the indoor offering at Devon’s Crealy after story time. Three of the five rides at the Park were new in 2014 and are all under one roof in the underwater-themed Lost World of Atlantis. Under-fives will love the new Super Subs ride featuring bright and colourful submarines. Neptune welcomes families of all ages to a new teacup style ride Neptune’s Seacups, where six carriages provide a whirling, swirling, spinning experience, with 360° views of the awe-inspiring underwater world.

Guests can discover an empire of slides and aerial walkways with climbing nets and rope swings at lofty heights in the Adventure Zone. There is fun for the whole family with twisting and bumpy slides and the nail biting triple drop slide.

The Animal Kingdom is home to some of Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park’s cutest friends. There are opportunities to meet the ponies, donkeys and guinea pigs. Feed chickens and cheeky goats in the Pets Corner and groom miniature ponies. Explore a world of extraordinary
creepy crawlies in the new Bugz Unlimited, getting up close to the hissing cockroaches and giant land snails and watch the leaf cutter ant display in amazement.

Guests that live for the weekends will not be disappointed; Buddy Bear and his friends will open over 40 rides and attractions (except water rides) throughout the Park each Saturday and Sunday until 21st March 2015.
