WBW Solicitors set to move to prestigious new Southernhay Premises
Leading Exeter law firm, WBW Solicitors LLP, is set to move to a prestigious new Southernhay office.
The firm, which already has bases in Newton Abbot, Bovey Tracey and Torquay, will be moving from its office in Queen Street to a new Georgian building in Exeter’s professional quarter next month.
The move marks a significant development for the growing law firm as managing partner Steve Bulman explained: “We’ve been in Exeter for 12 years now and feel it’s time to move into a different era.
“Moving to the professional quarter improves our profile in Exeter and allows us to build on existing relationships in and around Southernhay; it also offers our clients greater opportunities to visit us.”
The 22-strong staff will be moving in on 19 July and the office will be open for business on Monday 22 July. The new office is set on four stories and offers the firm significantly more floor space for expansion.
Mr Bulman said: “With more space than before, we now have room for potential incoming staff as we are keen to grow the workforce. It’s our plan to grow and expand the Exeter office. It’s also an improvement for our staff being just off the new Princeshay development.”
Partner Catherine Strigner, who specialises in family law, said: "The move to Southernhay marks a new chapter in the growth of WBW. Relocating to the heart of Exeter's premier business district will allow us to develop our firm even further, with space for more staff to join us and a greater opportunity to see clients.
"This is a really exciting time for us all at WBW and represents a significant development, Southernhay is a key growth area in Exeter with lots of new development and it's great to be a part of it."
WBW is emerging as one of the key players in the Devon legal world, having incorporated Torquay law firm Bynes earlier this year and steadily growing the number of staff employed in the practice.
Mr Bulman explained: “Part of our strategy is to expand and look at all opportunities in terms of mergers and acquisitions. We are also looking at further locations for more offices. We are confident about the future for WBW”
Specialist teams for family, private client concerns, agriculture, business, civil and injury claims will be based in the office.
WBW offers a full range of legal services, both locally and nationally, from an experienced team of 18 partners, 53 solicitors and legal advisors and around 77 support staff, for more information visit www.wbw.co.uk.
