Grange Jaguar and Aston Martin Exeter supported the 38th Exeter Golf & Country Club Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament with car displays and a prestigious prize for any golfer achieving a hole in one.

The annual Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament held on Sunday 7th September 2014, was to raise money for local charity, Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF). As the Golf Captain’s Charity of the Year, ELF benefited from this year’s successful Pro Am which sees professional golfers team up with amateurs from across the region to take on 180 of the South West’s top players. This year’s event welcomed 45 teams all raising money for ELF which was founded in 1987 to improve lives of patients with blood conditions by improved facilities, research and equipment at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.

Grange Jaguar and Aston Martin Exeter came with the high prize of an Aston Martin for a weekend for any golfers scoring a hole in one. There was one lucky winner on the day who got his first hole in one at the club, but his 3rd in his golf career. The lucky golfer was Exeter Golf and Country Club member, Mark Crouch.

Mark was over the moon with getting a hole in one, let alone winning an Aston Martin for the weekend. Mark has been at the club for over 12 years and been playing golf for 45 years. Mark lives locally and is a well know figure at the club and a well deserved winner. Mark normally drives a Vauxhall Zafira as his normal day to day car. He is now planning a weekend away with his wife to enjoy the ‘Power, Beauty and Soul’ of an Aston Martin.

The Pro-Am has raised over £4k so far for the ELF Charity.
