Carillon Flute and Guitar Duo perform a broad range of instrumental music that includes most styles and if it isn’t already in our huge repertoire, we will be happy to obtain the music and play it for you.
We are used to fitting into small areas in ceremony rooms and have been playing music for civil weddings since 1992.

At civil wedding ceremonies we normally play:

As guests arrive.
Usually about 20 minutes before the ceremony begins.

Playing for the Entrance of the Bride.
One piece that is suitable for a stately walk – the most often requested being Pachelbel’s Canon..

Music for the signing of the register.
Can be up to three or even four pieces depending on the amount of guests and photos taken.

The Bride and Groom’s Exit piece.
A happy up tempo choice – Here Comes The Sun is often requested for this part of the ceremony.

When choosing your music for a civil wedding ceremony, it is not allowed to have pieces that have a religious connection such as Ave Maria or Jesu Joy for example.
Your registrar will be able to advise you of the regulations and requirements for the wedding ceremony.
If you are interested in a quotation for your ceremony, please contact us at the email address below with the date and location of your wedding.
