South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust AGM and Annual Members’ Meeting
South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) is holding its annual meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 11 September 2013 at 3pm. The meeting will take place at The Old Municipal Buildings, Corporation Street, Taunton, TA1 4AQ and there will be a presentation showcasing the Trust’s achievements over the past 12 months.
The AGM represents a significant milestone for SWASFT as this will be the first AGM since the acquisition of Great Western Ambulance Service. The acquisition took place on 1 February 2013.
Throughout the day, South Western Ambulance Service will be showcasing the work of its urgent and emergency services on The Castle Green, Taunton (opposite The Old Municipal Buildings). The SWASFT Trust Board, Governors, staff and a selection of vehicles will be in attendance. Vehicles will include two double-crewed ambulances, one rapid response vehicle, a command and control vehicle and the Exeter Hazardous Area Response Team (HART).
Trust staff will be on hand to offer free health checks and talk about the work of the service.
On the same day as the AGM there will be an Annual Members’ Meeting, also starting at 3pm (both events take place at The Old Municipal Buildings). The AGM and Annual Members’ Meeting is open to Trust members and the general public.
