Car crashes into petrol pumps
Emergency crews were called to a petrol station in Rockbeare near Exeter today after a car crashed in to two pumps.
The incident happened at just past midnight. No one was trapped and one casualty was transported to hospital by ambulance.
A fire appliance from Middlemoor attended and used a foam jet as a precautionary measure and made the vehicle safe.
At 2.41am, Police recontacted the Fire Service to reattend the incident as more fuel had spilt as the pumps were being removed by contractors for repair. One fire appliance from Danes Castle Exeter attended.
Fire crews used another five litres of compressed air foam systems to cover the fuel spilt from the fuel pumps.
