Isca Ensemble Gala Anniversary Concert
The Isca Ensemble will be celebrating its Tenth Anniversary in 2013. The Ensemble started as a small string group specialising in performances of Rennaisance and early Romantic repertoire. It rapidly grew into a full Chamber Orchestra with added woodwind and brass with a corresponding expansion of repertoire.
We are thrilled that Richard Jenkinson (lead cellist with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and member of the Dante String Quartet) has accepted our invitation to join us for this very special event. He has been a great friend and supporter of the Ensemble for many years and it will be wonderful to work with him again towards this special concert. He will perform one of the great masterpieces for cello - Dvorak's most powerful and emotional Cello Concerto in B minor.
