The team at Killerton are seeking views from the local area about the historic estate to help to capture its new ‘Spirit of Place’ statement.

A special open evening on Friday 19 June in Broadclyst is inviting Exeter and East Devon residents to share their thoughts, views and memories about the National Trust estate.

The team would like to know what makes Killerton different, how it makes people feel and any memories of the estate.

Shaped by views of those that know it well, the statement will sum up the unique, distinctive and cherished characteristics of the diverse estate. The influential statement will also ensure any future work is in harmony with the property’s ‘Spirit of Place’.

All are welcome to the community open evening, in partnership with Devon Communities Together, which takes place on Friday 19 June in Victory Hall, Broadclyst.

Feedback can also be emailed and posted to Killerton until 26 June.
