Essential work is planned on traffic signals in Exeter next week.

Maintenance replacement work is planned on the traffic signals at the Gordon’s Lamp Junction in Heavitree from Monday 2nd November 2015.

Gordon’s Lamp Junction is the junction of Magdalen Road and Fore Street.

This Devon County Council scheme is expected to be completed on Friday 20th November 2015.

This work will be coordinated with the works at Butts Road to minimise the signals costs, by treating the replacements as one scheme.

The traffic signals, poles and electrics – which are at the end of their serviceable lives – will be replaced in addition to repairs to cable ducting where required.

Temporary traffic signals will be in place while the work is carried out and for its duration.
