Star studded line-up for Question of Sport
Six of the West Country’s top sporting stars will be at Exeter’s Sandy Park on Thursday 26th January to feature in the third ‘Question of Sport’ evening in aid of the Exeter Foundation.
Olympic Gold Medal winning hockey player Giselle Ansley and fellow Olympian Jo Pavey head up a star-studded list of sporting guests, which also includes Exeter Chiefs stars Gareth Steenson and Julian Salvi, Somerset County Cricket’s Lewis Gregory and Exeter City’s Lee Holmes.
Based around the successful format of the BBC show, the stars will have their sporting knowledge tested during a series of fun-filled rounds that will be overseen by quizmaster Mark Tyler.
Tickets for the event cost just £10, or £15 including a meal on the evening, and proceeds will go the Exeter Foundation.
The Exeter Foundation is the official charity of the Exeter Chiefs and was set up in 2010 by a group of city-based businessmen to help provide the city of Exeter and its surrounding areas with a ‘Civic Trust’ that promotes the local community and pursues the vision of people who live and work there.
Last year alone the Foundation donated over £120,000 to local charities and projects across Exeter and Devon.
