Ashfords to prepare wills for Alzheimer's Society in lieu of normal charges
In lieu of the firm's usual charges, Ashfords will be preparing Wills in exchange for a donation to Alzheimer's Society, their chosen charity of the year.
Alzheimer's Society is a charity that supports those affected by dementia through both practical and emotional support. The charity also invests in world-class research and campaigns to improve public understanding of dementia and the devastating impact it can have.
The Wills Scheme will start on Monday 25 September and will expire on Friday 29 September, or once the tenth Will has been prepared, in Ashfords' Exeter and Tiverton offices. The successful applicants will receive a professionally prepared Will and 100 percent of their donation will be given to Alzheimer's Society.
Victoria Green, Associate at Ashfords, commented: "For the past few years the firm has taken part in the Wills Scheme for charity, and it has continued to prove to be hugely popular. Writing a valid Will is the only way you can be sure that your wishes are carried out after your death, and this scheme is a great way to promote the importance of having a Will whilst raising money for Alzheimer's Society".
