National honours for Exeter marketing expert
The regional marketing manager for five star housebuilder Barratt Homes has been honoured for her success in digital marketing.
Helen Nattrass was awarded the Top Student Award and the Derek Holder Special Achievement Award for her outstanding work in studying for the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing professional diploma in digital marketing.
Helen, who lives in Exeter and is based at the housebuilder’s regional office in the city, said she was thrilled with the awards which were presented at a glittering ceremony in London.
The Top Student Award is presented for achieving the highest marks on the digital marketing diploma and the Derek Holder Special Achievement Award was presented to Helen for being the student who achieved the highest marks across all diplomas in the year out of the 217 students involved.
“I really enjoyed the course but was totally surprised to win these two prizes and come away with a distinction for my studies which included a wide range of assignments and exams,” she said.
“Digital marketing is now at the forefront of marketing and it’s vital to understand how it fits within the wider marketing strategy. Having this qualification ensures that I’m able to support my teams in being as effective as possible and setting new standards when it comes to the housebuilding industry,” said Helen.
