Award-winning site team at Redrow’s Potters Lea development
Two members of the site team at Redrow’s Potters Lea development in Kingsteignton have both recently been recognised for their exceptional work towards building outstanding homes and providing top quality customer service.
Site manager Steve Damerell has won an esteemed industry accolade for his top-quality work.
Steve has received the Pride in the Job ‘Quality’ Award from the National House Building Council (NHBC). This award will be presented to him at the Pride in the Job 2018 South West lunch on Friday 21 September at the Passenger Shed in Bristol.
Being awarded the Pride in the Job ‘Quality’ Award means that Steve could go on to achieve the next level, which is the ‘Seal of Excellence’, one of the most esteemed industry accolades a site manager can receive.
This is the third year running that Steve has been recognised by the NHBC. Last year he was awarded the Seal of Excellence and went on to be named the Regional Winner of the South West.
Highlighting excellence in the field for 35 years, Pride in the Job is dedicated to recognising site managers who achieve the highest standards in housebuilding. Around 15,000 site managers undergo the judging process in small, medium, large and specialist housebuilder categories.
Commenting on his achievement, Steve said: “Receiving the NHBC Pride in the Job award is fantastic as it’s one of the highest praises a site manager can achieve. I’m very much looking forward to collecting my award on Friday!
“Potters Lea is on track to be a brilliant site and we’re really proud of how it’s looking.”
Adding to the success of the staff on the Potters Lea development, Louise Azimi has been presented with the Sales Consultant of the Year award. Louise received this award for her outstanding level of customer service.
Louise said: “I’m thrilled to have been named Sales Consultant of the Year, it has made me feel special and appreciated to be recognised.
“Buying a home is a very important stage in a customer’s life and it’s wonderful to be a part of that journey.”
Commenting on the award-winning site members, Annie Williams, head of sales at Redrow West Country said: “Having not one but two award-winning staff at the Potters Lea development is excellent and it really reflects the quality of the service and the homes.
“We’re always very proud when our staff are recognised for their work and Steve and Louise are much deserving of these awards.”
