Local housebuilder placed in top 3% of property developers across the country
Following a standout year of success, Exeter-based luxury house builder, Burrington Estates New Homes, has announced site manager at Trispen Meadows in Truro, Shaun Marsden, has been awarded the prestigious Seal of Excellence award by the National House Building Council (NHBC).
Awarded to only 450 site managers across the UK, the awards put Burrington Estates New Homes in the top 3% of house builders in the country. The National House Building Council recognises the industry's best site managers across the UK and has been driving quality in house-building for 38 years.
At an exclusive event on Friday, Shaun and fellow site manager, Gary O’Gorman, who has been working on a luxury development in Plymouth, Notre Dame, were awarded the prestigious Pride in the Job awards. The Pride in the Job awards are one of the industry's highest recognised accolades, given to a small handful of the 16,000 site managers across the country registered with NHBC.
The Seal of Excellence award marks the second time the house builder has received such a standard, following Site Manager Marinko Tomic’s success last year for his work at Seaward Park, Clyst St George in Exeter.
Shaun Marsden received the award following his exceptionally high standards of build at Trispen Meadows in Truro. The collection of 85 two, three and four bedroom homes have been well received in the region, offering high quality living with both country and coastal access.
Colin Palmer, Managing Director for Burrington Estates New Homes, said; ‘We are hugely proud of Shaun for his Seal of Excellence award and both Shaun and Gary for their Pride in the Job awards earlier this summer. Their dedication to high quality and exacting standards shines through on everything they work on. We are immensely proud of their achievements and thank the NHBC for their recognition.’
Shaun Marsden said; ‘To be recognised both a Pride in the Job and Seal Of Excellence award is incredible. As with all of our developments, myself and my team are absolutely committed to ensuring high quality in each and every one of our new homes at Trispen Meadows. I cannot thank the judges at the NHBC enough and the support I have received from Burrington Estates New Homes.’
