Spring and summer style from Caroline Charles Exeter
Nearly 100 ladies and a few discerning gentlemen gathered in the Chapter House at Exeter Cathedral last month to view the latest Spring/Summer collection by Caroline Charles, one of London’s most respected womenswear designers. The Very Rev'd Dr Jonathan Draper welcomed guests from Exeter and the surrounding area, who were then treated to a professional catwalk show in support of the Cathedral Development Appeal.
Guests were greeted with cava and canapes before enjoying a first glimpse at Caroline Charles' beautifully exotic and upbeat new season's styles, from tropical cruisewear to feminine florals and vibrant occasionwear. The finale wowed the audience with a selection of show pieces specially made for London Fashion Week.
Brenda Ball, Manager at Caroline Charles Exeter revealed the fashion show raised £1,637.25 towards Exeter Cathedral's Third Millenium Campaign.
For fifty years, Caroline Charles has been a pioneer of British fashion and remains one of the leading designers in the UK today. The Exeter store was one of the first to sign up to the Princesshay Shopping Centre when it first opened and is now a successful store with a loyal clientele.
The Chapter House was decorated with a beautiful floral display courtesy of Trugs of Exeter, while guests were treated to goodie bags which included a special offer from the Cove beauty salon.
