VEHICLE leasing experts Carparison have opened a ‘one stop shop’ to help South West businesses with their fleet needs.

The award-winning, Exeter based company has opened a business centre at their headquarters in Marsh Barton – the biggest automotive base in Europe – to offer customers expert, face to face advice on vehicle leasing, fleet management and sustainability needs.

Business Centre Manager, Steve Hill said: “We are a one-stop shop for every make and model – car or van. Our new business hub means that in addition to our online business, we now offer face to face advice and support to businesses across the region.”

Steve adds: “More than half of our sales were of electric vehicles last year. We provide advice to employers and employees with the transition to electric vehicles, helping them with guidance on tax savings and salary sacrifice.”

Carparison is one of only two leasing brokers in the UK who operate both online and out of a physical office space. They work with Europe’s largest funders to find customers the best deal. Steve explained: “We offer expert advice for all motoring needs – and customers can trust our experts because we genuinely want to get them the best possible deal.”

Carparison have an impressive 307 years of combined experience in the automotive industry and the business has seen rapid growth despite global challenges to the automotive industry. The team are able to source any brand of vehicle from household names to high end brands like Tesla, and emerging brands such as Genesis, Polestar, Ora, BYD and Nio. Furthermore, they are one of the only companies in the UK able to offer next day delivery for Tesla vehicles.

Steve continued: “Our team have worked hard to forge strong relationships with all of the manufacturers, and we have our own storage compound, so we are able to offer next day delivery despite supply chain issues within the automotive industry.”

A salary sacrifice scheme involves employees ‘sacrificing’ part of their gross salary in exchange for a leased car for a set period of time. This can be beneficial for both the employer and the employee because the cost of the lease reduces income tax and National Insurance.

Debbie Mckenzie, Reception and Logistics Support from The Travel Chapter Ltd, enthused: “Carparison are so easy and efficient to deal with both on the acquisition of the vehicle and then the subsequent administration. The peace of mind around having multiple funders assures us that we are always maximising our cost savings and this is backed up by truly excellent response times to day to day queries.”

General Manager, Matt Woodward commented: “Everyone is time poor at the moment. When we are dealing with fleet customers, we can arrange demonstrators from the manufacturers to visit their business premises.”

Matt added: “We can find a funding solution for any business. We offer a complete service and we never have to say ‘no’ to a customer.”

The business hub is open to businesses and private individuals from 8.30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday. They are also hosting networking events for the business community – details of which can be found on Carparison’s LinkedIn account.

Top tips and benefits of car leasing

  1. Acquire a new vehicle without the risk of depreciation.
  2. All vehicle leases include road tax.
  3. Leasing is inflation proof – service, maintenance and tyres are all a fixed price.
  4. Don’t fixate on one make and model. The most savvy leasing customers have a shortlist of cars they are happy with, so they can move fast if there’s an offer on one of them.
  5. Carparison delivers vehicles nationwide, directly to your home or workplace.
  6. Think about contract lengths because this can drastically alter monthly payments.
  7. Make sure you commit to an accurate contracted mileage agreement. Going over the mileage agreement will mean additional costs.
  8. Treat the car with pride. Your vehicle will need to be returned in accordance with the “BVRLA fair wear and tear guide”
