An Exeter valuation surveyor has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award which recognises the brightest talent in the profession and celebrates their outstanding contributions to the industry.

Stephanie Christensen, Senior Surveyor at leading property consultancy Fisher German, has been announced as a finalist in the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Matrics Surveyor Awards 2023.

The awards, formerly the RICS Young Surveyor of the Year Awards, highlight the achievements of up-and-coming surveyors, showcasing the innovation and hard work of emerging professionals in the industry.

Stephanie, who works in the firm’s Exeter office, has been shortlisted in the Valuation Surveyor of the Year category - an award that recognises an individual who shows excellent skills, knowledge and customer service in their chosen field of valuation.

The winners are set to be announced at an awards evening at The Londoner, based in London’s Leicester Square, on October 20.

Stephanie said: “I am delighted and honoured to have been selected as a finalist for the RICS Matrics Surveyor Awards 2023.

“It would not have been possible without the continued support and trust from Fisher German which continues to help me grow. I am thrilled to have reached the finals and am looking forward to meeting the other finalists in October.”

Helena Tibbitts, Partner at Fisher German, added: “Stephanie is an integral part of Fisher German’s valuation team, forging strong links and offering excellent service levels in our South West region.

“I am immensely proud of her for being shortlisted for such a prestigious award which is a testament to her hard work and dedication.”
