Can you beat the antiques experts?
Three local antiques experts who have featured on popular TV shows will be doing their best to baffle an audience at a special charity event next month.
Cristian Beadman, Brian Goodison-Blanks and Nic Saintey are hosting a Call My Bluff evening for FORCE Cancer Charity on Thursday September 19.
“Call My Bluff is light-hearted, antique-based entertainment,” said Nic.
“We bring ten objects, some valuable and some worthless, and the three experts attempt to bamboozle you as to what each one is and what value it has.
“But we warn you, we are adept at wrong-footing you even when the descriptions are patently preposterous.
“There is a prize for the winner but predominantly the evening is one of frivolity helped along with wine. It will be an evening you won’t forget.”
Cristian, Brian and Nic have all appeared on Antiques Roadshow, Bargain Hunt or Flog It.
They are from Exeter-based Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood, the largest fine art and antiques auctioneers and valuers in the South West of England.
The company are great supporters of FORCE, which offers free support and advice to anyone locally affected by cancer at its centre in Exeter and outreach locations in Ottery St Mary, Okehampton and Tiverton.
The Call My Bluff event in September is being held at the FORCE Cancer Support and Information Centre in Exeter.
Tickets cost £10 to include a finger buffet with beer, wine and soft drinks for sale.
If you think you can beat the bluffers, book your place by calling FORCE on 01392 402875 or email forcefr@forcecancercharity.co.uk
