Special event for WESC Foundation volunteers

Over 30 volunteers from across Devon gathered in Exeter at WESC Foundation’s premises on Topsham Road to take part in a special event to celebrate National Volunteers Week.

WESC Foundation offers learning, care and therapy for more than 100 children and young people with sight loss and complex needs and the charity hosted a special afternoon tea to thank its dedicated volunteers.

Maureen Biss, Director of Human Resources for WESC Foundation, comments: “We wanted to say a massive ‘Thank You’ to our team of volunteers for the sterling work they do for the children and young people every year and we were thrilled so many could make it to our special event.”
