Marco Pierre White to visit new Exeter restaurant

The Godfather of modern cooking, Marco Pierre White, will be visiting his New York Italian restaurant in Clyst Honiton on Friday 12 July.

Opened in May the restaurant has fast established itself as one of the city’s premier eateries.

With checked black and white flooring and red gingham napkins, the new 92-cover family-friendly restaurant has been styled to replicate the hustle and bustle of a classic New York Italian.

Making the most of fresh local produce Marco’s serves quality American-Italian food including a selection of fresh pastas, steaks, seafood, burgers and handmade pizzas.

Following a refreshing glass of Prosecco on arrival guests will be able to tuck into some classic New York Italian fare.

Starters includes Calamari with garlic and lemon mayonnaise, Buffalo mozzarella with tomato and basil and Roasted beetroot and goat’s cheese salad.

For mains there’s a delicious choice including Spaghetti carbonara with poached hens egg, Wild mushroom risotto, New York ribs smothered with BBQ sauce or Chicken filled with mozzarella and tomato wrapped in prosciutto and lazy fries.

Pudding are just as tantalising with Marcos tiramisu, New York cheese cake with passion fruit syrup and Panna cotta

For dinner the menu will be extended to include a sumptuous Ribeye steak, rocket parmesan with vintage balsamic and lazy fries.

With places limited lunch costs £19.95 per person and dinner £35.00 per person.
