Killerton is hosting a first-time seasonal event to celebrate the colours of autumn.

On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 October, from 11am until 4.30pm, Killerton’s garden team will be offering special tours, activities and trails to enable visitors to discover the best parts of the historic hillside garden.

As the autumn months close in, a wide variety of trees, shrubs and flowers are starting to show their seasonal flare of vibrant colour amongst a sea of green. It’s a great time to take a walk against a stunning backdrop.

RHS Garden Rosemoor hosts an Autumn-long Festival of Food & Drink

Time to think about your compost says the RHS

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Advisory Service is encouraging gardeners to check their compost before winter. Lush growth this summer means there are now heaps of grass and hedge cuttings that, if prepared properly, could be made into useful garden compost.

Exeter Great Hall re-opens its doors

The Exeter Great Hall, situated at the University of Exeter, re-opens its doors this autumn after three years to welcome internationally acclaimed rock and pop musicians including Newton Faulkner,Shinedown and Kaiser Chiefs.

Business Network (SW) Limited Autumn Lunch

Over 70 decision makers from the local business community attended the autumn Business Networking (SW) lunch held at The Lord Haldon Hotel, Dunchideock. Guests were welcomed with a glass of wine and enjoyed a two-course sit-down lunch followed by a presentation from Chris Wood of Q Social Media Limited. Two RHS shows in London celebrate the best of autumn gardening

From 9-10 October, you can see, taste and buy mouthwatering produce at the RHS London Harvest Festival Show, a foodie feast celebrating the taste of autumn.
