To open the revelry of Chudfest we are holding a Beach themed party in the Marquee, with the highly acclaimed live band “Reckless” providing a whole night of funkymusic to boogie to. There will be a tasty BBQ supper included in the ticket price and a fully licensed, reasonably – priced bar to help get the party going! Doors open at 7pm and the party finishes when the band stops playing. So grab your loudest shirt and your hula skirt and join the party.

Faced with the challenge of securing a sustainable future in the face of a decline in its fundraising income, the Charity's trading arm - Fire Fighters Trading Ltd - has opened up its picturesque base in Chudleigh, making 20 spacious and well-equipped holiday bungalows available to the public to rent this summer and beyond.

Two men sustained serious injuries after a single-vehicle collision on the A38 at Chudleigh Knighton in the early hours of this morning [17 August].
Emergency services were called at 3.45am after a Ford Transit van left the road and collided with a tree near to the Chudleigh turn off on the northbound carriageway.
Three men, all from Spain, sustained injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
Two passengers, both men in their 20s, received serious injuries and remain in Derriford Hospital. One of the men sustained life-threatening injuries.
