Everyone is invited to our Hallowe'en Coffee Morning here at Axhayes on Saturday 26 October, starting at 11am. Come along and visit the cats and kittens at the centre and enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of cake. You can also have a go on our special tombola! The friends of axhayes group is a group of volunteers who give a little time to help fund-raise and support the Exeter Axhayes Cats Protection Adoption Centre. We meet once a month on the third Monday of each month at the centre starting at 6pm. We are looking for new members who are willing to give a small amount of their time...
To celebrate Action for Brain Injury Week, local charity Headway Devon will be touring the county with an exhibition of client artwork and coffee morning.
Having made stops in Torquay, Tiverton, Exmouth and Honiton, this "roadshow" will be making it's final stop in Exeter's St Stephen's Church on Saturday 18th May.
The event will be running from 10am-1.30pn and as well as an exhibition of artwork, there will be information stands, delicious homemade cakes, children's activities, space to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and a range of stalls to browse.
On Saturday 23rd August Exeter Axhayes cats protection adoption centre will be holding on of their popular coffee mornings. It will run between 11am and 2pm and its a chance to have a cuppa, cake and meet the staff and cats. Have a look around the centre and find out about the work of Cats Protection and the centre.
The centre would like to hear from you if you are able to help by donating cakes, biscuits and savouries for the coffee morning. They are also in need of donations of items that they can use as raffle/tombola prizes at events. If you are able to help please call 01395...
The Jubilee Singers present a 'coffee concert' at Southernhay Church on Saturday 15th December. Coffee will be served fropm 10.30am and the music will beging around 11.15. The programme will include carols old and new.
The concert is in aid of the improvements to the building which the church has now begun, starting with an access ramp to Southernhay Hall in Southernhay East. Admission is free but you are invited to make a donation to the Church Buildings Appeal.
