Now in its 12th year, Exeter's unique community singing sessions for adults - Forever Young Sing for Fun - returns on Monday 10 September.
New singers, who like an alternative to a choir, have the first session free.
Since January 2007, Forever Young have met on most Monday evenings, from 7-9pm, at St Sidwell’s School, York Road, Exeter. In two hours we sing around 30 songs, chosen by singers, from a list of over 700 songs. With the words projected on the wall we sing to beautiful backing music from the best singers including Abba, Adele, Pavarotti, Dusty Spingfield etc....
Following one of our recent tweets, advertising Forever Young Sing for Fun, one local follower retweeted, "Always a pleasure to give you a big shout-out..."
A valuable recommendation considering this individual has nearly 20,000 followers. We can only hope that many of those followers are not local or were away when the retweet went out as we think the limit on the hall is under 200!
