This year marks the 62nd annual Summer exhibition of selected pieces by Devon Guild Members.

The show features a diverse range of contemporary craft from across the South West. You can also gain an insight into what makers do all day with diary snapshots of Members' everyday lives displayed alongside the exhibits.

There is a DIY 'Perfect Day' Craft activity in the gallery for kids and don’t forget to vote for your favourite maker in The People’s Choice Award.

Open call for exhibitors: MAKE 2017

'MAKE 2017 is an annual Christmas selling exhibition, held at the Devon Guild's comtemporary craft gallery in Bovey Tracey on the edge of Dartmoor.

Always popular, this Christmas exhibition will showcase and sell contemporary design work by makers across the UK, in its spacious gallery space. The show is a great oportunity for creatives from the South West to promote their work; make the most of the Christmas shopping period and sell their handmade products. Tom Bonfield, of Hillside Product Design of Teignmouth, has been shortlisted as a finalist for The National Plastics Industry Awards 2016 Young Designer of the Year award.

“I am very happy to be chosen as a finalist; it feels like being a winner to me”, said Tom who concluded by saying “the design team are constantly sharing their knowledge and this puts into perspective just how far I have come in a short time”

Have your say on Exeter's new bus station

People are being invited to have their say on plans for a new bus station in Exeter at an open forum next month.

Exeter City Council will be holding the event at the Corn Exchange in Market Street, Exeter on Thursday (3 March) between 8am and 5.30pm.

The Council want to hear from members of the public and interested groups to inform the concept design of the new bus station. The Council want to hear people's views on:

  • user facilities
  • coach arrangements
  • on street bus stops
  • arrangements during construction
