Walk and Talk is a new initiative in Devon and Cornwall asking women aged 18 and over: “Is there a place you feel unsafe? Take us there”.

Devon & Cornwall Police will be linking up with women in person to understand more about what our region looks like and feels like, seeking to understand more through first-hand experience about the places and spaces where women feel unsafe.

Courtlands Boardwalk re-opens on Exe Estuary Trail

Courtlands Boardwalk on the Exe Estuary Trail has re-opened following the completion of repairs.

The section of the Trail between Lympstone and Exmouth has been undergoing a major overhaul after it was found that timber structural beams and deck planks had deteriorated and become unsafe.

Over 94 tonnes of timber have been removed during the repair scheme, and it has been replaced with 70 new spans of a more durable fibre-reinforced material, known as Glass Reinforced Polymer (GRP).

Devon Air Ambulance (DAA) is excited to unveil two new Critical Care Cars which will strengthen its service and help more people needing urgent pre-hospital care.

Pub partnership provides £2.5k of support for Devon health & wellbeing charity

Exminster-based Westbank Community Health and Care has reached more people in the local community thanks to a year of fantastic support from a village pub.

InExeter announces parklet initiative to enhance public space in the heart of the city

InExeter, the business improvement district for the city, is thrilled to unveil plans for the installation of two new ‘parklets’ for the city centre. Cranbrook Arrows Netball Club is delighted to announce its ongoing partnership with Taylor Wimpey through a joint sponsorship for a second year running. The collaboration will run throughout the club’s 2023/2024 season.

Volunteer Fayre to showcase 60 local organisations looking for new recruits

Exeter’s popular Volunteer Fayre is back on Thursday, 21 March for the third year running.

It brings together 60 local voluntary groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations, all of which are looking to recruit new volunteers!
